Jazz Ensemble
The Jazz Ensemble is an integral part of the overall band program. A serious effort is made to promote the growth and performance of jazz and related styles of music. Jazz requires certain numbers in its instrumentation. Membership for the ensemble is determined by auditions held by the Director of Bands in the spring of the year prior. One of the highlights for the ensemble is participation in several jazz festivals. The group will rehearse after school in the spring semester.
