KIDA Indoor Competition
The first KIDA competition hosted by the Tuscarora High School Instrumental Boosters on February 22, 2014 was a resounding success! Thank you to all the volunteers and participants. A special thank-you and pat-on-the-back to Sue and Laura for organizing the event.
The Keystone Indoor Drill Association is a competitive, educational indoor circuit with units in Pennsylvania, Maryland, Delaware and Virginia. The units compete in 4 disciplines; Percussion, Color Guard, Majorettes, and Dance Teams. Last year, in its first year of competition, Tuscarora's ensemble took first place! This year, we are hosting the KIDA Indoor Invitational on February 22, 2014. Twenty-seven winter guards and indoor percussion ensembles from Virginia, West Virginia, and Maryland along with their supporters will be participating. We anticipate attendance at this event will be between 1500 and 2000 people. More information about the KIDA can obtained here.
Program Advertising & Trophy Sponsorship
You can support this award-winning ensemble by placing an advertisement in the show program. This is a unique, one-time opportunity to reach over one thousand regional spectators and performers with your message, while demonstrating your support for instrumental music programs in our schools! Another option is the sponsorship of trophies for winning teams. Sponsor names are read as the trophy is presented. You can even have a representative of your business present the sponsored award. Information on program advertising and trophy sponsorship can be downloaded by clicking here.
