DONATIONS & FUNDRAISER

Fundraising is critical to the success of the THS Instrumental Music Program. We strive to keep student fees affordable so that all students are able to participate in the instrumental music program of their choice. Our fundraising program is designed around a core of fundraisers that bring in the majority of needed funds.

Questions or comments related to donations and fundraising can be directed to the THSIMB at thsimbinfo@gmail.com

A word from our Boosters…

Tuscarora Instrumental Music Donation Drive

The award-winning Tuscarora Instrumental Music Program performs in numerous competitions, showcases, parades, and concerts throughout the school year. You can be proud that the student in the program that provided your contact information is hardworking, dedicated, and of strong character. In order to continue with our strong tradition of excellence, we need support from members of the community.

As is the case with most public schools across the country, Tuscarora High School receives no funding from Frederick County Public Schools for the purchase and maintenance of instruments and other music needs. Therefore, it is the sole responsibility of the Tuscarora High School Instrumental Music Boosters, a not-for-profit organization led entirely by parent volunteers, to raise these funds.

Thanks to generous donations in previous years, we have purchased and are using new uniforms!! Our music students look incredible in these new uniforms as they bring pride and honor to the THS Community.

Our new goal is to fundraise $5,000  for the purchase of new instruments to replace the nearly 20-year-old instruments currently in use; as well as money for our students to travel to local and regional competitions to display their talents. We are asking for your generous donations to assist us in maintaining and replacing these instruments as well as supporting our other program needs.

We need you, our THS music friends, families, and alumni, to help us continue the tradition of Titan Pride in our community by making a donation today. We thank you in advance for your consideration and hope that you will help us keep the rich tradition of having the Tuscarora Instrumental Music Program be a premier program in the state of Maryland.
