Clothing Donation Drive on Sat. May 6th, 2017
The Tuscarora High School Instrumental Music Boosters’ are hosting a Clothing Donation Drive. Community members are invited to donate gently-used clothing on Saturday, May 6th from 10am to 4 pm at Tuscarora High School’s tennis court parking lot.
The drive’s goal is to raise $5,000 in funds to support the various music programs offered including: marching band, color guard, concert band, indoor color guard/percussion, jazz, and orchestra. Acceptable donations include clothing, shoes, accessories, and linens (no household items, appliances, TVs, mattresses, or hazardous materials).
All goods collected through the Donation Drive fundraiser program are sold to Savers, the parent company to great thrift stores like Value Village, Unique, and Savers. They pay us by the pound for every qualifying donation received. In turn, these items help keep their floors freshly stocked.
