A word from our Boosters…

Tuscarora Instrumental Music Fundraising

The award-winning Tuscarora High School (THS) Instrumental Music Program performs in numerous competitions, showcases, parades, and concerts throughout the school year. However, as is the case with most public schools across the country, THS receives little public funding to make this program possible.

This means no public funds for the incremental instruction, travel, registration fees, props, and all of the other little things needed to make these programs work each year. It also means that the purchase of new instruments and uniforms - the most expensive parts of running a high quality instrumental music program year after year - are unfunded.

The THS Instrumental Music Boosters exist to help fill this gap, but we can’t do it alone. WE NEED YOU, our THS music friends, families, and alumni, to help us continue the tradition of Titan Pride in our community. All of us, working together, can help keep this program vibrant and attainable. You can help by:

1. Supporting our fundraisers: The fundraisers listed here help us take care of the day to day operations of running an instrumental music program. Come get your car washed, have someone cook for you, or take in a show all while supporting the program!

2. Sponsorships: Own a business yourself? Know someone who does? Looking to grow your business or just want to give back to the community? Your sponsorship will directly impact the program by helping us replace aged uniforms and instruments. We will promote your business on our website, social media, and music programs. 3. Donations: Donations are a great way to help the program! These direct contributions are VERY appreciated and support uniforms, music, instruction, and instruments, among all the rest. If you would like to donate directly, please click on the link below.

You can be proud that the students in the program are hardworking, dedicated, and of strong character. In order to continue with our strong tradition of excellence, we need support from members of the community. 2025 Dates: August 9th and September 6th both from 9am to 2pm

Location: Advanced Auto Parts (6602 Crestwood Boulevard, Frederick, MD 21703)

Our students and adult supervisors wash and dry cars in return for donations to THSIMB. We supply the soap, sponges, towels and elbow grease. This is a great way to promote teamwork and camaraderie among the students while offering a worthwhile service to the community.
