The first KIDA competition hosted by the Tuscarora High School Instrumental Boosters on February 22, 2014 was a resounding success! Every year we are very thankful and appreciate all volunteers and participants.

The mission of KIDA is to to create an environment that fosters growth through performance of the marching arts. KIDA provides opportunities for both independent and scholastic indoor color guards, percussion ensembles, majorette groups, dance teams, and marching wind ensembles. The Keystone Indoor Drill Association is a competitive, educational indoor circuit. We have units in Pennsylvania, Maryland, West Virginia, Virginia, and the Washington DC metro area. The units compete in 5 disciplines; Percussion, Color Guard, Winds, Majorettes, and Dance Teams.

The Keystone Indoor Drill Association was formed in the interest of teaching the principles of good sportsmanship, fairness in all aspects, professionalism, and proper conduct under any and all prevailing conditions. It is the desire of the Keystone Indoor Drill Association to promote better understanding among the units, good public relations, and above all, an atmosphere that is conducive to good clean competition.

While the Keystone Indoor Drill Association is truly an educational endeavor, it also teaches each and every member to demonstrate pride in their unit, their school, the association, and our nation at all times.

Program Advertising & Trophy Sponsorship

You can support the award-winning THS Ensembles by placing an advertisement in the show programs. This is a unique, one-time opportunity to reach over one thousand regional spectators and performers with your message, while demonstrating your support for every instrumental music programs in our schools! Another option is the sponsorship of trophies for winning teams.  Sponsor names are read as the trophy is presented.  You can even have a representative of your business present the sponsored award.
